My netbook without a hard drive used to run Windows before the O/S was deleted from the SD card. How can I set it up with a new Puppy O/S? Any special procedure for creating a bootable Puppy image?
Thanks in advance.

Method of scrolling
Well, on my Inspiron I can't scroll regardless of number of fingers or location on the touchpad. But arrow-key scrolling works. My two other laptops have different problems related to the touchpads, and neither is with me at this moment so I can't test them. One of them (a Compaq IIRC) can scroll ...

Try again or simply post what is in the .txt file.
Sorry - don't know why the file didn't post. Here's a link to it.

Thanks for the replies
The laptop I'd most like to get fully working with Puppy Slacko 6.3 is my Inspiron 3520 which won't scroll from the touchpad. Yes, I did try to configure the touchpad scrolling from Setup with no effect. I ran the (very nice!) .pet tool and have attached here the .txt file it generated. I'm hoping ...

Laptop mousepads don't work right in USB Puppy
Recently I installed the latest Puppy version on a USB flash drive. It works great when booted from flash on the desktop computers I've tried. But ... booting to otherwise working laptops (from three different manufacturers) has been a different story. All three of the laptops I've tried have had ...

Dell laptop mouse pad question
Recently installed Puppy on a flash drive. It boots and works great on several computers (all with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS installed) except my Inspiron 3520, where the only problem is that I can't scroll using the mouse pad. However scrolling with the up/down arrow keys works, and the mouse pad appears to ...

Puppy 6.3: Mouse pad scrolling not working in Firefox
Hi all. Just installed Puppy 6.3.0 and have just one problem. My mouse pad scrolling doesn't work in Firefox although it seems to be set up in the mouse utility. Any help appreciated.

Is there a Puppy that includes Open Office?
So, my problem is that I like Puppy but I need Open Office. Is there a Puppy version that combines both?
Does it make sense to do this? Does OO slow Puppy down?

Atheros WLAN problem
I just installed Puppy 4.2 on a new Compaq laptop dual-boot with Vista. I am delighted with Puppy's user interface and speed but have a problem. When Vista is running, the Atheros WLAN card works fine. When booting Vista, the card's power light comes on, and when exiting Vista the power light comes ...
