Unfortunately all of these advices did not work. I can chose the usb soundcard in alsamixer, but then there is no sound. After a reboot there's the old built-in sound device. Listening to my music collection through laptop speakers when you have a good hifi is far from satisfying. Any more ...

This is an amazing player for me.

But it refuses to find saved libraries in its browser, though they shown in ROXfiler (*.cml) Any Ideas?

ich habe jetzt eine echte Anfängerlösung gefunden:

Das Problem taucht nur beim Rebooten auf. Also: Festplatte erst anschalten, wenn alles andere läuft - dann ist sie konstant sdf1.

Na dann kann ich jetzt weiterforschen.
