Could you make an LXPup based on Quirky April? I want to try one that uses packages made for puppy. Many Ubuntu packages just don't speak puppy, and I don't have good luck with slackware.

Sick Laptop reboots constantly even with Puppy sdcard.
How do I diagnose what's wrong. This is my moms laptop. It is an Acer Aspire with a single core Pentium 4 and 2gb of ram. It doesn't reboot on bios or boot option splash screen. It will not boot into winblows Vista.

How do I install dotpup files in ubuntu debian based puppy? I'm not sure if there is a conversion tool or not but if there isn't you could always extract the package and then use dir2pet to create a new modern pet package. I moved a spot directory file to trashcan. Now I think it won't empty because of permission issues. I tried to move the file back to spot but it won't move a file recursively.
