Could you make an LXPup based on Quirky April? I want to try one that uses packages made for puppy. Many Ubuntu packages just don't speak puppy, and I don't have good luck with slackware.

Because the image filename contains spaces, use quotes. mount -o loop "Install, Learn, Utilities 1.img" /mount/data Linux uses the "ls" command instead of "dir". This command produced no errors per say, but when I opened dosemu and entered "a:" I got Error fr...

I have good results with DosBox doing exactly what you are trying to do.

When I try to create c drive with the command "MOUNT c ~/dosprogs" I get a directory doesn't exist error. I am using the xenial version of this app. Is there a pet that might work better?

Do you recommend a specific one? I can't find anything in the xenial repos, that doesn't have dependency issues.

Here 's a website that bogged down my computer (Quirky Werewolf 64 with SeaMonkey.) Apparently, that website is dedicated to wretched excess in every possible way. I am using the latest version of firefox on a xenial based puppy. The website loaded ok for me, but I am using native firefox tracking ...

Sick Laptop reboots constantly even with Puppy sdcard.

How do I diagnose what's wrong. This is my moms laptop. It is an Acer Aspire with a single core Pentium 4 and 2gb of ram. It doesn't reboot on bios or boot option splash screen. It will not boot into winblows Vista.

It's already in root. Sill won't empty. I'd rather not reinstall just over a trashcan that won't empty. I don't understand why the root account can't empty it.

Have you done a search for this in the PPM (Puppy Package Manager)?

I am using Xenialpup and it has several listed in PPM.
The Deb wouldn't even create a menu entry, and wouldn't open when I used the command line.

How do I install dotpup files in ubuntu debian based puppy? I'm not sure if there is a conversion tool or not but if there isn't you could always extract the package and then use dir2pet to create a new modern pet package. I think that the dot pup files are for very old versions of puppylinux so it...

Using LXPup Xenial 16.08

I moved a spot directory file to trashcan. Now I think it won't empty because of permission issues. I tried to move the file back to spot but it won't move a file recursively.
