[Howto] Make a Puppy USB pendrive from Windows
Hi This is how I made my pen bootable and run Puppy from it. USB pendrive is F: on my machine. Make the necessary changes if it's other letter on your system. From Windows to Puppy: - download ISO - extract initrd.gz, vmlinuz and pup_xxx.sfs (starting from 4.3, zp_xxx.sfs also needed) - download sys...

I inlist this bug in the forum's 4.3 bug post just after 4.3 comes out. Portuguese (Brazilian) is the right way to say/write. So the Mozilla site is right. There is no South American. In that part of the world, Portuguese is only spoken in Brazil. Spanish for the rest! :) Like in the english diction...

Look for the retro version of 4.3 or went back to 4.2. It has better support for old hardware. I had the some problem with my o...

Hardware Area. Anyone interested?
That's it: why not open a sub-off-topic-forum for exchange hardware? This was talked softly in another treat and stayed on my mind. Who was for give can offer there. Who needs can ask for it. No sell, no buy. Just give, take, ask, exchange. What do you say about? Just a thought... maybe a big stupid...

I had an empty USB pendrive. I boot Puppy411 and run installer, chosing frugal install. Did you tried linux16 and initrd16? My boxpup is at C:\boxpup. Boxpup see C: as sda1. (Partitions can be made from Puppy, Ubuntu, Zenwalk or whatever) Assuming you are trying a frugal installation, what's your partition configuration? For frugal install you don't need a special partition, you can us...
