I'm making a similar (well, in concept at least ;) ) tool for JWM. So far, it includes a theme switcher, tray autohide options, window move and resize options, keyboard shortcut configuration and focus model configuration (ie sloppy or click). I'm looking to incorporate menu configuration soon. The ...

I absolutely love Opera, with the best feature being the fullscreen option (can't see the ads!, beautiful use of space), the tabbed browsing, and the fact that i can quickly and easily use the keyboard for everything. The integrated mail client is tops, too. I must say that I am becoming very fond o...

Thanks for testing this for me, Lobster. Are you using Puppy 1.0.3 (or an earlier version with JWM 0.23 installed)? Could you please post your /root/.jwmrc file for me? I haven't come across this problem, as I haven't come across this problem yet, although I did find that some of the backdrops are a...

have you considered an online project management system? I've used AceProject a few times, and have found it quite good. Check it out here:

http://www.aceproject.com/

there is a free, unlimited time account. You only get 2mb of file storage, though, but i never found this to be an issue.

sorry, i forgot to log in.

ONE MORE THING:

I THINK THAT THEMES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH JWM ver 0.23 AND GREATER.

I haven't tested jwmThemeSwitcher on versions earlier than 0.23 (or Puppy versions earlier than 1.0.3)

JWM Themes and Theme Switcher

Hi all,

I written a little gui script to switch JWM Themes. It is very easy to use, and I have included 1 theme, with instructions on how to create JWM themes compatible with the switcher.

Coming soon... i just a bug in my dotpup.sh script :(

Runkster, Puppy is designed to make life easy, and is perfect for the purpose you have described. Check out the flash-Puppy instructions here: http://www.goosee.com/puppy/flash-puppy.htm I know that there are sometimes issues, depending on the type of flash drive you have, but there is plenty of hel...

Thanks, drj. I followed your instructions, and am coming to you live from WinXP pup. Well, sort of. I was able to boot from windows, but because I have a fat32 partition, puppy would create a pup001 file there, and would get upset that he couldn't find usr_cram.fs. I copied usr_cram.fs to the fat32 ...

Bladehunter, pakt: you guys are amazing! I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to see Puppy properly! FYI, I pretty much just followed the steps you guys laid out: 1. copied my configuration from Vector linux (that took ages to set up, another story!) 2. downloaded the i810 driver, as per blade...

ok, I have a couple of screenshots. I am one of the lucky people with a dodgy chipset, so the graphics are not what you'd call great. Please don't judge the themes on my monitor! Someone with a normal setup may be able to provide better shots
