Adding Latex and other tools seems like a good idea :) However, I also want NaNoWriMo Linux to be simple and straightforward (I don't want too much programs for the same task). I'm currently thinking about what other programs to add. If you have any suggestions, please mention them ;-) OpenOffice ...

Great, GuestToo :-) Perhaps it's time to put Firefox 1.0.6 in Unleashed, instead of 1.0PR.

Upload .iso's and other large files

They'll stay on the site forever, unless they are not downloaded a single time in a period of 30 days. www.yousendit.com Upload files up to 1 Gb. They'll stay on the site for 7 ...

Personally, I consider Linux to be more reliable.
Why? When a program crashes, it doesn't take the OS down with it.
With Windows XP, the OS tends to go down with the program. Or at least in my experience.

Post me a cd with just the iso as a file and I'll host it on my site....Got a bit of space still left to use. PM me for more info Well, the thing is: it's just a first version, a 'draft'. I'd have to send cd's quite often, and that's kinda expensive ;-) I think there is a website called dropload ...

Yep. When I restarted the computer and opened MUT again, the printer started making noise again. It's an HP Deskjet 695C. Deskjet 815c does this too.......doesn't print anything, it just initialises, then takes a sheet of paper part way in, then the error light on the printer flashes ! don't know ...

Well, you can't upload to the Puppy Linux section in Ibiblio. Apart from the fact that I've used up most of my space allocation, you need an account with them. To get an account, you have to apply for one, but it may not be easy to obtain. Well, I wasn't going to upload to the Puppy section ;-) I ...

How do I upload my remastered Puppy to ibiblio.org?

I'm going to upload my remastering to ibiblio. However, I'm a bit confused about the '.lsm'.

The part 'Primary-site', must this be a site on which all of the files are available? I can't create such a site (no money for hosting), that's why I want to use ibiblio :?

zlib security bug

I don't know if zlib is used in puppy, but I thought I'd post it: http://www.techworld.com/security/news/index.cfm?NewsID=3994 Gentoo Linux has warned of a serious, unpatched security flaw in zlib, a compression library widely used in Linux and Unix applications. The bug could be exploited to crash ...
