have you tried Puppeee for EEE netbooks/notebook's...or... Fluppy for all other notebooks?

THANKS "rjbrewer"... the processed worked quite well. I changed my puppeee 1.0 from a "full" to a "frugal" install and then followed the directions that you provided. i have tried to fix it by downloading various drivers including "quickpet" from puppy 5.1.1 i have a toshiba laptop 135A-4527 i even reinstalled Windows Vista (yuck) just to check graphics, the pc still works well with windows, too... and, as stated earlier, every other linux distro... which ...

i am back to puppy 431. it just works. most newer versions have many, many bugs. i believe the developers have lost focus on quality and moved on to "glitz".
