SeaMonkey "Save as" dialog box settings
In Puppy 5.25 when you reverse the order of filenames listed in the Sea monkey "save as" dialogue box this setting is fixed for each subsequent save as action, however in Racy 5.3 you have to change the order each time you save a file because it reverts back to the default setting. Please ...

525 JWM keyboard shortcuts
I have just installed Puppy 525 and tried to set up some custom keyboard shortcuts as I have had them in previous Puppies but when I set them in "JWM configuration" from the main menu they don't work.
Should I be using a different method?
Thanks

Open Box Start menu keybinding
In Puppy 5.2 with Open Box and FB Panel I want to make a keybinding to select the main START button. I have found the rc.xml keybindings section but I don't know the command for that menu. Can anyone tell me what it is? Also, is it possible to stop the desktop left and right keybindings from auto re...

Open Box
I am trying to add the date and change the font of the time display in FBPanel. I have found two config files for the panel, 1 in .fbpanel and 1 in .config and I have altered them both. The changes I have made appear initially on the panel but after a few seconds the panel seems to be redrawn and th...

No I think I am the problem because everyone seems to talk as if it is really easy to do but I can't work out what to do. I have tried handbrake and used the terminal command: HandBrakeCLI -i /mnt/sr0/VIDEO_TS -o /mnt/sda11/movie.mp4 -e x264 -b 2000 -B 192 but this either fails to work or just encry...

Lucid 5.1 Welcome set up screen and Getting Started splash
I have a remastered frugal install of 5.1 and I can't stop the Welcome to Lucid Set Up window and the Getting Started instructions window from coming up every time I boot in. This is particularly awkward because when they run they interfere with my set up somehow and change the time on my desktop an...

Can't use make command in 5.1
I am trying to compile a driver in 5.1 frugal install. I have downloaded the devx .sfs and the kernel sources .sfs into the directory where my lupu-510 .sfs is for my frugal install. When I have booted into 5.1 I click on the devx and the kernel source .sfs and get messages that they have each succe...

I also cannot get the uk keyboard setting to work. The locale and timezones don't appear to change either. The screen flicker mentioned by others is present on both my Samsung Q35 Centrino and my Dell Mini 9 netbook. Its quite slight and happens every couple of minutes. (This sort of flicker used to...
