I haven't followed this thread and I'm in a hurry right now so I'll just add my two cents in the context I regard it based on the last two posts... There's nothing you can't do with divs and css but you can do with tables. There are many things you can't do with tables and you can do with divs and c...

Master_Wrong I'm sorry, I have to clarify... The original scripts included on the iso would show 2 cpu for the x40 on the server. Both of your later auto-config scripts worked fine. The server would see just one cpu on the x40 as expected However, grep -c processor /proc/cpuinfo still gives 2 as a ...

please try grep -c ^processor /proc/cpuinfo Gives 1 compared to grep -c processor /proc/cpuinfo Gives 2 What exactly does that mean? This is NOT an effort to hi-jack this thread. How is helping and sharing knowledge hi-jacking? On the contrary... I'd consider myself with my limited knowledge and st...

Thanks for the link and of course thank you for your work!! I'll study that site and see what I can figure out. Also I wanted to ask... is this vanilla luci 245 with a special sfs for clustering? Can I use the sfs on 5.2 or any other pupplet as long as the dependencies are satisfied? Ultimately what...

Or i need to run blender with the same scene on each of them and from the master machine I'll say: slave 1 render this laye...

May I suggest dmenu as a tiny super fast app launcher? It would make an excellent compliment on this pupplet. Auto run it on startup with -i for convenience for noobs and veterans alike. I really hate case difference handling in linux '_' Also why did you set double click??? It's slowing it down, pl...

I upgraded from 516 to 517 then 518, full installs. I use custom settings for theming (mostly mire and dyne based themes) and I use either fluxbox or openbox with tint2, no desktop and nitroogen for wallpapers. Those settings are the the first thing I copy over from a backup partition when doing wip...

well, again, 7 was the fastest windows os I have given my x40 ibm lappy (1.2 pentium m, 855gme, 1gb ddr1). I did have to hack-in 855 drivers from 2003 to get ...err, whatever acceleration 855 could give. But still it was the fastest windows I have used on that machine. OSes and hence your experience...

I haven't been able to install nvidia drivers for my quadro fx4000. I tried 260.x and 256.x, I even wiped the previous installations but no luck. Details... I started with a fresh HD install of 542, the drivers installed fine. Then upgraded to 515 they weren't working anymore so I tried removing the...
