I was gratified to see this fixed in 2.1 beta.

The numeric keypad is locked to numbers. Doesn't matter if the numlock led is on or off. Obviously it's not a major problem for most. (It's been a bug through all the several versions I've used.) I think this may work in console?, but for typing into applications it's wrong and inconvenient, at leas...

I've tried many Linux desktops, but Puppy got me to actually use one.
