In order to open multiple browser windows , obviously you'll need a window manager. To strip down an existing one (which ...

Try the boot parameter pfix=nocopy . Found that a few minutes after I posted this earlier today but no luck. The lupu_520 doesn't get loaded into RAM, but the extra sessions still do. Kind of defeats the purpose of itself... but thanks for the reply. So what I tried next was to use the " Remaster ...

Save Session to CD & *NOT* load to RAM on boot? (Solved)
So what I'm trying to do is create a development environment out of Puppy Linux 5.2 (not for Linux, actually it's for a game console. Playstation 2 runs .ELF files). My plan was to create a multisession Puppy CD, install Firefox, devx, a couple SDKs, and save the session to a CD. I don't want to run ...

Probably in the same category as the question above, but... is it possible to set the default window size in XFE? I've been though all the gui preferences and it doesn't seem to include anything for it. It's just kind of annoying having it open full screen all the time. Other than that, this thing ...

I accidently deleted my HDD
I tried to right-click on the hard drive and accidentally must have hit the "- Remove Item" selection on the context menu. How can I get it back?
It's known as "SDA1" if that matters..
-Thanks

Left & Right arrows - Select the sound channel (Master, PCM, etc) Up & Down arrows - change volume of that channel M - Mute/Unmute that channel (Muted ...

MAKE installation - Where is devx_511.sfs?
According to this thread: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=41074&sid=547e633be0f5967c4cf5433cf8719c2c (read 4th post) There is supposed to be a devx_xxx.sfs associated with every version of puppy linux. Problem is that I can't seem to find anything past devx_421 & I'm running 511 ...
