Does this Firefox 3 work with a Pentium II?
Can anyone confirm this Firefox 3 PET works with a Pentium II? If this doesn't work with a Pentium II, is there somewhere I can get a version that does and doesn't have library errors? Has anyone tried the the Flash 10 beta suggested as a fix for problems with Flash 9 as explained in the below URL a...

Still readying PET for Firefox 3, I hope?!
Can someone provide a PET for Firefox 3 (not just an SFS) that fixes the dependency error issues? I am not technical and can not do this. A PET installation for Firefox 3 seems easier for beginners like me and others and I believe would be greatly appreciated by many. Thanks for any update informati...

Is someone doing a Firefox Official Release 3 PET for Puppy 4? I've been using a PET based on Firefox 3 Beta 5--which updated fine to Release Candidate 2--but it installed with messages about a lot of missing dependencies. Info on it is here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=27521&am...

Thanks; My Apologies; Follow-up on Remaster
pizzasgood: Thanks for your answers and my apologies for taking so long to post a thank you. My job sucked up a lot of intense time plus I was trying to finish/document a new Remaster to ask more questions and it all took longer than I expected. In the future I will post a thank you immediately and ...

How do I get Puppy to run entirely in RAM with pup_save.3fs
I am currently running Puppy 2.14 from disk (using PUP4DOS with FAT32 file system & pup_save.3fs); alternately, I'm testing Puppy 4.0 from CD (using PFIX=RAM so Puppy entirely in RAM): 1) What do I need to do to make sure all my Puppy applications and libraries load from and run entirely in RAM?...

Barry: Have I missed any recent references to a barebones Dingo? Back in October in your developer blog, you talked about having an official barebones Dingo. I think this might reduce the size of the Puppy folks need and be of great use to those non-technical people like me who are nervous about try...

Thanks again muggins: I must have missed this links-2 PET--I tried to look in all the many sources pointed to in Puppy package manager; I don't have the Puppy Software Installer in--not sure it's OK in Puppy 2. After downloading the links-2 PET you pointed me to and installing it, the PET install sa...

Barry: Thanks for taking the time from your busy schedule to answer. After loading Puppy package manager in my 2.14 Puppy, didn't see Links listed under that name in PETget or DotPup. I did find a PET for elinks that is a text-only browser. I was hoping to find the Links browser that has a full grap...

Skipstone doesn't work on my Puppy 2.14
Skipstone PET doesn't work on my Puppy 2.14--opens to browser screen, but then closes immediately (with no GUI error message). -Any chance someone can tweak Skipstone to work on 2.14? Especially since 2.14R seems to be an ongoing thing. -Also, can anyone confirm (or prepackage) the minimum supportin...

Icons; 4 alpha vs 3.01 Questions; opinions
Looks like I'm in the minority, but I LIKE the icons. I think the symbols are very good. The flat icons differentiate Puppy; could be the new cool. Question 1: can someone clarify the differences between 4 alpha & 3.01? Does 4 alpha have Slackware compatibility and all additions of 3.01 except a...
