tekram tm-802b card working in toshiba laptop using ndiswrapper and windows driver (net8180.inf). The linux r8180 driver did not work. The tekram card uses a realtek chipset.

If you include your version number it might help the more knowledgeable people figure out the problem.

I have searched the forum for "touch screen" and don't see anything that seems relevant. Is there any support for touch screens in puppy. Where else could I look for information.

Did you use the hard drive install wizard? The wizard asks if new install or update to existing install.

I'm running pupp109ce on laptop booted by pup4dos. I don't see my win98 files in rox. How can I see them? Can I use files from them in puppy if I identify the right path? I have wireless driver for windows and would like to copy it instead of using cd. (no cd drive)

I took the hard drive out of the laptop and used gparted in my desktop (puppy202) to partition.

It is booted with pup4dos.

I have partitoned the hard drive: hd01 with win98, extended with hda5(linux), swap(linux),and another empy fat32, each about 5 gig. I intend to put puppy in hda5 with grub in the partition boot area, and use xosl to choose which partition to boot.

Gave up on pupwin98, don't know why it did not work. Tried the pup4dos and pupp202 and that didn't work either. 109ce worked on the second try. Some of the applications are a little slow but most seem to work. I even tried getpup and downloaded some games. next project will be wireless.
