:D Excuse my ignorance but as I have Puppy 5.1.1 wary on my Hard disk as the main OS and am slowly configuring it to do what I need as a lightweight portable solution. Simply changing OS, presumably by USB stick is not really an option. What options do I have to maintain and upgrade to a more compat...

:D I had tried this particular utility before but having entered suitable network credentials for a listed server I got a mounted prompt but did not appreciate I would not then see a shared drive / mount / folder without using the show within the utility. (I've been spoiled by Ubuntu) Is there a com...

Puppy says I dont have permission to run vpn_install.sh so I assume need a sudo to do this. I assume I am root but I dont have/know a passw...

Windows Shares
Standard access to Windows Server Shares required = SMB. FTP is available but not used for this. The above discussion is what is required however as an old discussion, the wary 5.1.1 I have does not appear to be provided with these tools. As I am very new to all this, I need to know WHAT I should be...

Not available on Wary 5.1.1
Want to connect to my Download Server to retrieve and save files.
Wary 5.1.1 does not appear to have either of the tools listed here.
What do I use ?
NB: No apparent support in RDESKTOP 1.6 to allow me to mount Laptop drive when connected remotely! So far only USB to transfer files !

How to install Cisco Anyconnect Tar.gz?
I have started with Wary 5.1.1
I NEED my work VPN available.
I have installed it on a Ubuntu laptop successfully but need it on my laptop running Puppy 5.1.1.
The Archiver on puppy does not see anything in the file so stuck before I start.
1st step, which archive application

Whatever Happened to this RDP Client ?
I followed the RDESKTOP debate through the threads but when installing rdesktop on wary 5.1.1 I get from the repository only vanilla rdesktop. Works OK as I have created a folder full of console scripts for each desktop but would be far better with a GUI. Is this old version useable and available wi...

Wlan sees network but can't connect ! - Solved
With my eyesight and even my bottle bottom reading glasses I cant determine whether I have a F5D8D13 or F5D8013 v3 PCMCIA card
Building a profile for a Wifi Network using the Full network wizard does work but not as intuitive as it could be. Thanks all for the help.

Success
Took more time to STOP running quick connect than it did to fix the problem... Eventually I Dis-associated it as the default app and I could get in to the full Network Wizard.
Using your guide it then worked quite smoothly. Saved a profile so I load, use, Auto DHCP and ready to go
Thanks.
