You need to replace /bin/tar binary. Take tar binary from Slacko or Dpup Exprimo build or use tar binary from somewhere which works. It is known bug with debian squeeze build. thank you so much for the reply. i will try the tar binary in the lucid puppy 528 to see what i am going to get. your help ...

The kernel that i am using is 2.6.39.4, and it is debian-squeeze compatible. currently everything seems fine except one - when i type in command " tgz2pet" in the terminal, even though the pet is created anyway, but along with a error "tar: write error". i ...
