when I was booting from live cd I saw that the kernel module of my eth0 wasnt in /lib/modules

I copyed all the kernel modules from the last stable puppy with files module.dep and module.alias, did modprobe 8139too and the network wizard worked and I get connected too

I was without sound and network when testing 2.20 alpha from live cd

then I installed new puppy alpha to an usb pen drive, booted from there and all started working

A multisession CD loads sfs files automatically, so just make your CD multisession, save to it/reboot. I assume the sfs files are already on the CD. thanks raffy, Barry and all ! Something is happenning in the linux world. There are few new distributions and interesting news. Puppy is the only exception. The news page and the Forum are very exciting to read everyday and we stay anxious waiting the next Puppy version.

Really great is the information that Barry is writing a new remaster script. I believe it will be by far better and more accurate than this previous script
