I tried the latest Beta (4.2) on my 900 but it doesn't load the wireless module. I did lsmod and it came back empty!

I don't see anyone else reporting this fault which is strange! I think it needs the Ath5k module.

It was picking up the 3.4 file(s). I removed them from sda1, and 3.5 now works!

It appears that when it finds an eeesave file, it switches to that partition somehow! It copies the eee-435 file to that partition as well as to RAM.

It might be a good idea to check the md5sums on the files. You can find them in the version file. To generate an md5sum open a terminal and run 'md5sum <filename>'. I did have this problem, but I tracked it down to my having started with WEP security, then switching to WPA. I solved the problem, I think, by deleting the WEP config file.

That looks like my set-up, except that I use the XP printer's 'share' name, not the print queue - or is that what you mean by the queue name?

I assume that you were able to find the correct PPD file for you printer. Mine is a Canon.
