I could get compiz using this method.

But unfortunately, my windows lost the top part windows title where the close button is usually located. Without the top part, it is hard to do double click and maximize or minimize windows.

Sorry, I don't know where to ask. I downloaded a program called "x-tile" (deb file). Installed it and it was listed under utility in the program menu. When i click on it to launch the program, nothing happened. I launch the program to check the dependencies, but it says nothing is missing....

I found a good office application called kingsoft office.

It has offered a ubuntu deb file for installation.
