How to install the Brave browser?

Has anyone installed the new Brave Browser on their system? I tried unpacking their tarball but there's no readme on it. It works interesting on my tablet so I was wondering about it.

I think the question is whether you can copyright a private rendition of a copyrighted image on a perishable item. Cakes by nature are destroyed-- they're meant to be eaten-- and there is a question of whether that's a real brand on the cake, whether such images are being sold under copyright on ...

"Counting Stars" is most likely the one you're thinking of. "Lately I've been, I've been counting stars..." Meh, I could go either way on that one. It's not great, but it's not horrid either, and if you look up the lyrics it's got a slight bit of profundity to it. Then again, I suppose if it's the ...

Any fans of the band OneRepublic on here...? Found them on Pandora, and can't stop listening. Holy crap these guys are good  So far my top three of their songs would be -- Secrets Good Life Marching On ...but I can't say I can pick out any particular songs of theirs to avoid. These guys are ...

How did you do this exactly? And are you creating a modified pup image? Will this work on the average Android tablet? I have a cheap Kindle Fire tab which I will probably overwrite with Cyanogenmod soon

From what I've heard, Google is actually going to merge Chrome OS and Android together. Looking at a Verge article from October it says Google confirmed they will remain separate, which means you're probably right. Good enough reason to start looking at the architecture of this ARC thing, and ...

This seems like it might be a more workable solution in a Puppy paradigm for Android apps: ARC Welder for Chrome. http://www.howtogeek.com/214734/how-to-use-googles-arc-welder-to-run-android-apps-in-chrome/ Has anyone tried it? It apparently runs in Ubuntu-- and I would presume any Linux with an ...

IMO (sorry, likely to set off fireworks) Kim Dotcom pales in comparison, at best, to Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. "Too many secrets." ;) ( If you don't get the reference. ) ...but, to each their own... He's unfortunately not as photogenic, and looks more like the "nerd/hacker" stereotype ...

A couple of "naive" questions, if I may: * will the Debian entity continue to exist? * I did notice that on some news sites they mention that he had started a new job at the Docker software firm last Fall. Out of curiosity: his work as an official at Debian was volunteer work, then? Why did he need ...

And here we've descended into full paranoid security mode, including using CyanogenMod and F-Droid and shaving off your device's microphone. https://blog.torproject.org/blog/mission-impossible-hardening-android-security-and-privacy And yet... apparently it's recommending rather familiar apps, such ...

I'm afraid that compatibility with normal apps built for android necessarily means you get the whole bloated, insecure java mess with it. Any sort of emulation could only isolate you slightly from the problems, while quite possibly adding new ones. There are always re-mixes especially Cyanogenmod ...

Probably the best shot we have of doing this will be when Ubuntu Touch with Xmir (xorg server) gets released. A guy recently demonstrated running Mate (Gnome desktop) on Ubuntu Touch with Xmir, and it looked pretty good. There are lots of projects on this forum where guys have created a puppified ...

Well, this is just a weird thought, and there's so much going on. As you may have known I lost my beloved laptop, and the loaner was only connection online. In my frustration with a Windows machine, my wife gave me my old Christmas (Jan 7) present early-- a tablet. Not just any tablet, but the most ...

Thinkpad T40 Wifi-- Make Smoother Connection?

After a long day of trying about 8 different puppies with this old IBM Thinkpad T40 (I kept going older and older) and not getting WiFi to hold for more than 5-10 seconds on any of them, I finally broke down, connected with the installed Windows, looked at the forum for multiple visits, until I ...
