Thank you! That did the trick. I put it in syslinux.cfg where it says: label fatdog linux vmlinuz waitdev=3 That made it find the savefile on the usb and use that as home. Also I got the savefile to work when it was still on the HDD. I don't know what I did to make it work or why it didn't before.
