I commented out the following line (placed a # at the start of the line, for any newbies reading this thread in the future) in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: mount -t tmpfs -o size=${QTRFREERAM}k tmpfs /tmp ;STATUS=$((STATUS+$?)) I confirmed PUPMODE=2 in /etc/rc.d/PUPSTATE. Hence I was unable to use the Resize personal storage file tool. I have 3G RAM and, according to GParted, 3G swap.
