How to put Dansguardian on puppy?

May I know if anyone here have a DansGuardian success story with puppy? I wanted to put up a dedicated box for web filtering and at the same proxy server. Squid, maybe. Any alternatives, please.

TIA
Jeff

I wonder why I don't see no job code from the output below. Is this correct? In 631 I can see that the job IDs are FX1170-7 and FX1170-8. Using lpr with either yields error "unable to access xxx - no such file or directory". BTW, isnt lpr used to print a file? lpc> status FX1170: printer i...

for example, /initrd/pup_ro3/usr/local/openoffice.org2.0/program should be also in /usr/local/openoffice.org2.0/program ... /usr/local/ is the correct path to look for these files, rather than in /initrd Yes, I did notice. So might as well update my export PATH to point to /usr/local/openoffice.org...

you probably should not touch the files in /initrd ... unionfs does not like it if you delete files etc etc in the unionfs file system, behind it's back ... it refuses to do anything until you remount the file system (easiest way is to reboot) of course, you can't delete files in a ro file system N...

How to access programs mounted in pup_ro

I downloaded openoffice.org and wine 0922 sfs for Puppy 2.11. I noticed that they are mounted in pup_ro3 and pupro_4 respectively and all the programs are there. What should I do to make these programs accessible in the command line interface (terminal?) or anywhere in Puppy? I temporarily resorted ...

OpenOffice-2.0.4_211.sfs not mounting

Hi all, Downloaded the sfs from http://htb65.de/puppylinux/addons/OpenOffice-2.0.4/ and copied it to my /mnt/home dir and reboot. No OO :?. I was expecting to see mounting OpenOffice-2.0.4_211.sfs message or something similar in the boot messages, but nothing. Background: Using puppy211; did a fruga...
