It Works! Thanks! Ran up perfectly :) Actually faster load than the other ones too. Found the ATI device right away. There seem to be two minor problems. Everything that runs on flash crashes after 2 seconds (Di.fm, Youtube) Start Menu flickers and lags! Everything else seems OK! Damnit...maybe I'm...

Alrighty.

Never seen or tried Upup before. How does it differ in general from say Lucid?

Making a disk atm.

edit: A bit weird, downloading only at 60 kb/sec (now on Windows) on Slitaz I downloaded much faster but there was some problems with burning the CD. Halfway done :)

I know google once smashed together Youtube and Gmail into what they call google account now. What might have happened is that that Youtube account was connected or registered to that Gmail-account. It's pretty horrible either way. And yeah... Once upon the time the internets felt like the unexplore...

Someone really needs to inform someone about Linux. What reason could there ever be to switch to the "Chrome" OS as a business? I know I'm preaching to the quire here. The only reason to switch from Windows is cost-related since you can do everything on those platforms which you can on Goo...

Wait really? So when you logged on Gmail a cookie was created on your computer which in plain text (unencrypted?) has the password? If that's the case then it's criminal how stupid that is. Thanks for the router tip! Might share that to a buddy of mine too. Click and forget! It's just a pitty their ...

So what motive would you want for your new tattoo?

I get your point though. Nothing is for free, especially not that which is free. And you're not alone in knowing it was about to come. ;)

Hey ya'll. Thanks for trying to help me out. I was a bit on the edge yesterday...Nice to go 30 hours without sleep! Although tihngs still haven't resolved themselves at least we've established it's not the HDD and it's no the RAM-memory itself that's at fault. It was an interesting journey. BigPup, ...

I'll test the battery later; the motherboard should (if the battery works?) and has in the past self-adjusted those settings. I'll check if it still does.

Thanks!

It doesn't help that my comments, my activity and so forth remain out there to possibly create a profile of me. It's not the main issue though. I was aware of this. It's just something I want done with the deletions of the emails and the data based on them which is by me considered private informati...

That does it. Over the summer I am deleting the acccount and sending a letter (not email) to their HQ that I want all my data erased on Youtube and on Gmail. Already been planning this but this goes to far and speeds up my plans. I will perhaps open a new account in the future only to use with all m...

People might want a car but they don't want it to drive over them. Surely different sectors will see different oppurtunities with new technologies.
