Olinm, I will only say this once. I am thankful for your pointing out the latest CVEs or updates etc. I have also answered your each and every question in the past, so I don't see why you feel you are still confused, especially since you have never raised questions like what these people are asking ...

Apart from FireFox and Flashplayer what needs to be updated before re-mastering ? @jamesbond Why did you ignore Abdulrahman with the needed clarity of information ...

As for a re-packaged distro, I think not. Whatever corrected additions you've made should be easy enough for any of us running Fatdog to find and apply, provided they're possibly in a central location and in their own FD-700 updates repo folder perhaps. With all the small glitches such as the quiet ...

The cons against releasing 701 is the effort probably needed to re-customise an existing 700 installation; if you already have a working 700 then why bother. The Pros for releasing 701 is those that don't have a existing 700 installation , find is difficult to customise , security patch , fix audio ...

@olinm: I don't recall how 631 was configured, but in 700 yes subpixel hinting is enabled by default. You can disable it by doing "ln -s /etc/fonts/conf.avail/10-no-sub-pixel.conf /etc/fonts/conf.d" If i compare 631 to see if it was enabled before do i look for a line in /etc/fonts/conf.d ? And did ...
