Primary operating system: Puppy Linux
I'm not necessarily referring to using Windows for new machines. If you are going to use linux on a new machine, I reckon most users will be inclined to go for a larger linux distribution like Mint instead of Puppy. Not necessarily, Nic. Some of us are fans of minimalism, even on brand-new hardware ...

Fully functional keyboard
Corvus, did you try boot parameter "pkeys=it"? This did the trick I'm very happy Thanks. :D What changes if you specify the keyboard layout in the boot parameter instead of the quick setup settings? Anyway Thanks again Dry Falls for the time you have dedicated to the resolution of my problem. corvus

Hi Dry Falls, I tried several versions of Just-lighthouse and I found it one in which my keyboard work OOTB downloaded from the following link: http://archive.org/download/Puppy_Linux_Lighthouse64/150816-JL64-603.iso . I tried to replace the folder /lib/keymaps of JL64-702 Slackware-14.2 with that ...

Did you see my prior post with regards to booting SFS files automatically? Yes I did and I'll try to create an ydrv from the sfs I need although I think it is better to put a command in /etc/rc.d/rc.local, as you suggested, but don't know what command, can you give me some tips? Thanks in advance ...

BTW - Why did you include /initrd/pup_ro1 in your first script? Because I want to include my savefolder stuff in "adrv" and when I run puppy with savefolder /initrd/pup_a/ is only an empty folder as shown in screenshot 1, the savefolder stuff are stored in /initrd/mnt/dev_save/tahr64/tahr64save and ...

keyboard layout issue
Hi Dry Falls, I'm posting from JL64 right now. I followed your suggestions but no success, it is not only "alt gr" key issue but the problem afflicts many of the keys located on the right side of the keyboard: - "alt gr" acts as "enter"; - "stamp r sist" acts as "canc"; - "canc" does not work ...

My personal ideas concerning President Trump
The fact that he was elected in spite of everything was contrary to his election is a great lesson of democracy and the American people is definitely an example to follow. Nevertheless the actual signing of musher0 fully expresses what I think.

Will try to swap /etc/keymap config file with that from FD The same here with Italian keyboard layout, anyway a wonderful Puppy derivative. Thanks Dry ...

Make sure your /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.Gconf.service has the following content: [D-BUS Service] Name=org.gnome.GConf Exec=/usr/lib/libgconf2-4/gconfd-2 Yes, the content is present.
