Re: Windows10 installation rweport

Do you have an explanation for the fact that your unintended Easydd command left untouched partition 4 on the NVME drive? The EasyOS image file is 1.3GB expanded, so this only overwrote the first 1.3GB of the NVME drive. Partition-4 is 1GB at the end of the drive, so was left untouched. As was the ...

Hi,
I needed a quick fix for EasyOS and EasyPup 2.3.1, as wanted to get it out immediately, so changed to flsynclient. Hopefully we can go back to psynclient soon.

Hello, Barry, On my HP Compaq 6530b, it is not possible to start the touchpad configuration (psynclient). Got the same on my dell vostro 1510. synclient does work, so it is psynclient. I got the same on fossapup (beta), which is unexpected. psynclient is a PET created by mistfire: http://www.murga-...

Another problem for me is the missing command genisoimage which is needed for PeasyDisk to write files to disk. EasyOS and EasyPup have peasydisc version 3.7, which uses 'mkisofs' from the 'cdrtools' package. It does not use 'genisoimage' (which is the rough equivalent of mkisofs, in the cdrkit pac...

WoofQ has version 2.0.2. /usr/sbin has 'pgprs', and 'pgprs-connect' and 'pgprs-shell' symlinks to it. I see that the 2.0.3 PET doesn't have those symlinks. is that OK? WoofQ doesn't have /usr/share/applications/pgprs-connect.desktop I don't recall how it was invoked in that case. EasyOS and EasyPup ...

Click the "sfsget" icon at top of page, you will see the kernel source SFS listed.

Download it, choose to install it to the main desktop.

To do any compiling, you will also need the "devx" SFS.

Package named xxd needs to be Debian Buster
Having /usr/bin/xxd as a busybox symlink fails
Thanks for reporting that, the full 'xxd' will be in the next release.

Re: EasyOS 2.3 installation

@ Barry, Hi Barry, thank you for your explanation! As it seems, my question was not precise enough. I still do not really understand why dd-ing the EasyOS 2,3 image onto a mounted partition results in a <quasi-functioning> installation that shows features which are not typical of the standard versi...
