This new one has the Realtek version of the Intel HD; the sound works within MS XP; the ALSA Wizard seems to detect and configure it, but alas, no sound results... i went thru the same ...

What do you expect with the face you have. You're right. Also you don't give much info. I know! Run the ALSA sound wizard Tried that. I Installed Alsa-lib 1.0.16 (PETget) and tried driver 1.0,17. I poked around the net and found several post regarding alsa and the HDA_Intel sound ...

Where to find DIVX pugin for SeaMonkey or Firefox?

I'm trying to view content on www.quicksilverscreen.com using either Firefox or Seamonkey on puppy v2.17. It says I need a Video/Divx Plugin. Where? How? Thanks!

Minx, I run Puppy v2.16 on a Dell D600 from a 2gig usb stick. Puppy picked up the sound card, NIC and wireless with absolutely no problem. The only thing I haven't got to work was the modem but I really haven't tried very hard. :)

gxine 0.5.9 playback problems.

gxine 0.5.9 on puppy v2.16 often but not always play media files, both video and music, at 2x or 3x speed. MPlayer seems to work ok. Is there a setting or codec I'm missing?
