Hi playdayz,
thanks for your work on K-Office sfs files. Unfortunately I couldn't download the one for puppy 3.01. Clicking on the link gives me 403 error in FF3.

Strange a bit, but this package (http://tekwolf.net/modules/wfdownloads/ ... d=1&lid=13)seems a bit small for me (5,4Mb), while the compressed Slackware binary is 13Mb. Is it OK?
Thanks,
Matu

Howto change gtk+ stock icons
I found an easy solution for this problem after I couldn't find and change the gtk stock icon files and globally the whole icon set for mime-types (arrows, back, stop, folders, etc.) under puppy 3.00. Below is a link with a short description: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=240384 I tried t...

I found a good way to solve your problem. You can use petget from cli. I found a forum theme here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=26857 , where Barry mentions, that petget can be used from command line. I copied the relevant part of the petget script here: optional passed param is ...

I suggest to do this: -boot puppy with pfix=ram -mount your partition where your pup_save file is -rename the pup_save.2fs file to for example repair.2fs -click on it, it will be mounted -find the description of installed files in .packages and delete them manually -click on the repair.2fs file agai...

Hi Dingo, I did all the above described things in the /root (not /mnt/home) of my mounted pup_save.2fs (I think it is ext2). First I tried on fat32 (because I had more space there to do) too, but the unpacking and the symlink creation were failed on it (permission problems). So I suggest to do that ...

How to build an OpenOffice.org2.3.sfs file in your langauge

Download an official .tgz (Slackware) packaged and localized OpenOffice file. 2. Place the file into a new folder in your root folder and unpack it. I did...

icons in application menu
Hi MU,
as far as I can see, E17 search for icons in /usr/share/icons. I did only a rough test, symlinked the content of both /usr/share/mini-icons and /usr/share/midi-icons to /usr/share/icons.
The result:

Szia! Isten hozott a kennelben :D .
