Precise bien sur quelle version de toutou tu es ainsi que la version exacte de ta carte wifi (V1, V2,v3) car elles peuvent avoir besoin de drivers differents en fonction des versions. Mon post parle bien de la v2 avec chipset RT61.

I would advise you to try with Mplayer it's far better.

Il te reste 2 solutions:
- desactiver la protection de ton wifi (le support du wep ou wpa n'est pas encore a son top niveau sur linux)
- essayer avec ndiswrapper et les drivers du cd fourni
Pour la qualite du signal c'est possible, j'ai le meme probleme avec ma carte. mais j'arrive a me connecter.

Nos puedes dar el model exacto de tu lector de tarjeta? Yo compre uno en media markt que no funcionaba en puppy, pero luego compre otro en el corte ingles que funcionaba perfectamente.
tambien si puedes teclear en una ventana de comando, y copiarnos lo que te sale aqui porfa.

enchufas el lector o el pendrive, con MUT o Pmount, esperas unos segundos y hay que pulsar "actualizar" y normalmente te sale una unidad nueva.
No apraece automaticamente, hay que actualizar.
