chipset problems

I bit the bullet and use a usb ether connector with pegasus drivers as a work around. Neither 2.14 nor 2.15ce see my very common wire...

Out of the box USB connectivity
Puppy has worked so well for so long on my desktop Dell and my old Toshiba. Now on a new cheal Everex laptop, nothing buy troubles with the Via Rhine II Lan adapter and the Wtheros wireless card. Haven't worked too hard on the sound issue yet. Wired networking using the built-in Via Rhine II connect...

Via Rhino II
Any solution ever found for this problem? I just bought an Everex laptop with a Via cpu. I tried booting Puppy 2.1.3 in the store and had no problem, so when I got home it was disconcerting to discover that neither the wired nor the wireless connections are working. I think there's an ndiswrapper wo...

I'm very interested in the possibility of running Puppy in a stable environment on either a G4 with an emulator like VPC, or on a Macbook with an emulator like Parallels. Going out to buy a laptop next week and I can either shop for a PC knowing that it will probably run Puppy -- my everyday OS for ...
