I love the concept and design of LHP, but I'm about ready to give up on making it work on a USB stick. I have been unable to make it work 'persistent,' i.e., to remember what SFS's to load, xorg settings, wireless etc. It sees the pupsave file, it loads it, it appears to save to it... it just does ...

Installed Lighthouse C to USB Flash - but it stays in 'pristine' mode, can't get it to remember keyboard, xorg, or sfs's loaded.

I am thinking of uploading my install after a tidy up. This I think is a utter power user setup with loads of software and configured! My apologies if it is already covered, but I can't get 4.2 to recognize my USB thumb drive. The light briefly flashed on, then goes off, and that is it.

You don't need the pet, just pcPuppyOS and the separate winetools download. You need to wait for the next release, which should be 'shortly.'

first,after a harddisk install and boot up from hd i get after loading the kernel expr syntax error. I am getting this too, although I have been 'playing around' with turning Pebble on and off, which may have something to do with it. I've had no problems at all with network, wired or wireless... jf
