I have been unable to make it work 'persistent,' i.e., to remember what SFS's to load, xorg settings, wireless etc. It sees the pupsave file, it loads it, it appears to save to it... it just does ...

Lighthouse Pup USB Flash Install Not Persistent?

Installed Lighthouse C to USB Flash - but it stays in 'pristine' mode, can't get it to remember keyboard, xorg, or sfs's loaded.
Thoughts?

More maybe to-do in the future , EG another WM instead of the default one. Any way I think I will call it "Puppy PowPer" or "Puppy Power"(Think Scrappy-Doo ...

USB Drive does not work

My apologies if it is already covered, but I can't get 4.2 to recognize my USB thumb drive. The light briefly flashed on, then goes off, and that is it.

pizzasgood does the programming; I just pay the bills! I'm not so certain, however, that it is possible as just an 'add on,' will see what he says. If you have limited ram, you may want to try pcPuppyOS. With the clock and calendar and conky all running, starts off on my machine using only about ...

You don't need the pet, just pcPuppyOS and the separate winetools download. You need to wait for the next release, which should be 'shortly.'

pcPuppyOS includes: Enigmail Security extension to Mozilla Thunderbird and Seamonkey. and Emcrypt Device-mapper target that provides transparent encryption of block devices Emcrypt has a choice of encryptions, including Truecrypt options. Ideally puplets could be automatically sorted by size if they were in database, but I lack the knowledge to make this happen. I'd like to revamp the Puplets page on the wikka using wikka formatting for a table but the wikka needs upgrading to 1.7 first. OK... but, which size? Size of the files in ...
