peebee, following your tip to rename savefile works, for the most part... regular ScPup 32 and ScPup 32 with LXDE updated without issues... even renaming the ydrv for LXDE worked well. However, LXQt would not load as ydrv nor as a regular SFS...have went back to 20.01 + 6T for use with LXQt, also us...

Thanks peebee! Latest ArchPup 32 iso downloaded, unpacked, booted and loaded savefile, no problems! Posting under it now, using Palemoon. Looking good so far! Wiz  ps...forgot to mention I'm also using LXDE using the SFS you provided for ScPup, w/o QT, renamed to LXDE_20.03.sfs and loaded that...

Not bad
Hi OscarTalks! I'm here now in NetSurf 3.10 32 bit, booted into ScPup LXQt 32bit on my old Acer netbook. This could be a good "basic browser" for 32 bit Pups, in place of others such as Light (currently included in ScPup 20.01 +6), as long as potential users were advised that NetSurf is no...

When you installed Slacko, it looks like it placed those files in the same directory as your UpupBB files, this overwrites any files with the same name (initrd.gz, vmlinuz, etc), SO, let's try extracting your UpupBB iso into the directory to replace the Slacko files, then try a reboot and see if Upu...

Can you give us a few details about the computer you are using? Might help a bit to know what we have to work with as far as CPU, RAM, video.. Other than that, we also need to know how you installed Palemoon??? Did you install from tarball directly from Palemoon, or did you use one of the pre-made S...

I copied the libxml files from my ScPup 32 frugal install and placed them into ArchPup 32 after renaming the included files in ArchPup. Osmo now works as expected, haven't noticed any oddities yet, other than I forgot a symlink the first try and pmount/unmount wouldn't fire up...figured out what I'd...

Piqued my curiosity!
Well, after reading this topic for awhile, and being somewhat a follower of peebee's ScPups, I decided to give ArchPup 32 a tryout on my little old netbook, Acer Aspire One AO150, Intel Atom N270 1.6gHz, 1 gig RAM, 120 meg HD, did a frugal install to HD of s243a's latest ISO, rebooted, ran through i...

My objective is not to start and argument. But to make you guys aware that this is obviously wrong. I bet you they can find 1001 stories about why. I do not have to read, how they advertise to use it. I need valid reason why I need it in the kernel. For me this is like pretending saving water, soap...

Which Puppy? Which browser? Some specs of your computer will help as well, like CPU, amount of RAM, how you connect to internet? Myself, I use ScPup 32 bit, with different DE's (like now I'm using LXQT) and for web browser I prefer Palemoon...no problems streaming what little streaming I do. Most of...
