Again it depends on what you want to do - I do a lot of "bulk" resizing - generation of quick email resolutios etc. I have yet to find anything on Linux.

I do use Photoelf www.photoelf.com under WINE - it works fine and is just as fast under puppy as under WinXP

I realise this is pretty boring but I instaled Firefox 2.0.0.1 from: http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Internet/ And it did all the default browser stuff for me - when I click on "Browse" FF starts rather than sea monkey... One more question...

Does the drive work OK in say a Windows PC - I had this same problem with a 1Gb Microdrive on my work laptop (Win 2k, would take 5-10mins), a few weeks after it went slow the Microdrive stopped working altogether!

Hi I have sucesfully managed this and will share it - the trick (I think) is to start after the Xserver, but before the JWM windows manager... Refers to : Puppy 2.16 I editied the file /root/.xinitrc and added the line: vncserver :1 -geometry 1024x768 just before the end of the file. IMPORTANT learn ...
