How do I start? I klik the mythfrontend icon and there are a few settings that I don't understand. It tells me that "cannot login".

I don't know , I just started to find out things about mythtv . All the other distros don't work 100% on my pc (celeron 1.8 ghz , nvidia 6200) , and puppy is my only hope to run it. I want to buy this card : Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-3000 , do you think I it will work?

Can anybody write a how to for AutoCAD 2000 with wine 1.11.1 , on Puppy 3.01? When I start the installation , the blue screen appears , nothing else happens , it doesn't go to next step.

I did a full installation of Puppy 3.01 with Xfce and when I pick the quit button , it throws me out to the commandline and I have to write poweroff. And others had the same problem. And something else: the time is always 4 hours ahead of any time zone I pick.

Hi Brandon. Nice puplet you have made . You have been there , hard work takes time to pay off. I 'm not a member of the Hamsters , so I have no idea a about the theme. But there are more cool themes to come.

A new puplet from a greek team , in English and soon in greek too . It has Xfce with a new theme, Firefox , Puppy Software Installer , Abiword , Gnumeric , pburn.

Great puplet and compiz-fusion works fine (NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT). But I had installed it twice (frugal) and the second panel lost all its shortcuts setup , it changed the menu icon to the xfce icon and couldn't keep my second language (greek). Has anyone stepped on the same problem?

Could anyone upload a screenshot ? It would take 5 hours to download from where I am and I'm very curious how it looks like.

I downloaded Inferno3.0b but an error occurs when I try to load it , something about the kernel. Any ideas?

I'm running wNOP from a PC with quad core cpu , nvidia 8600 and its perfect! Everything works fine! I had tried installing compiz-fusion on NOP but the taskbar disapeared. I'll try it on my personal PC ,with a nvidia 6200 card and see what happens.

I did the same steps , the xfce appears only with the task bar , no icons and no panel, although the settings menu show that it's there. Anyone with the same problem?

Hi , I tried to install xfce to puppy 3.00 (old and new version) , but all I get is the task bar and nothing else. I read some older posts , done everything they said but the problem remains.
