@ sc0ttman.
The packages are in Jermimah's first post in this thread, the list starting with ' Frisbee beta 2 ', the Wary wpa_supplicant is right at the bottom ( be sure you've got the right one, there are a couple of versions for different Puppies, as Jermimah explains. )

Frisbee on Wary 5.1.3
Hi darkcity. You might want to add Wary 5.1.3 to the wiki page as well, I've got Frisbee running using dhcpcd-5.2.9-i486 and Jemimah's Wary wpa-supplicant.darkcity wrote:I've added XOPup to the Frisbee page on wiki

Hi Sheepy, I'm settimg up Slimpup 2.4 on my venerable laptop ( 400Mhz P2, 198Mb RAM ! ) Things are looking good so far, I installed Laptop Goodies and have got Frisbee to launch from the ' connect ' icon, but I'm a bit stuck with getting the battery status working. I can't work out how to make the b...

ATI drivers
Apart from the virtual desktop issue already mentioned by capoverde the only bug I've come across so far is that Quickpet recommends the Catalyst driver for my ATI Radeon HD3450 card, but I couldn't get it to work. Xorg High-GLX seems to suit my card, and gives good results in Google Earth.

Dictionary for en-GB?
I've installed the Libreoffice sfs, and it runs very nicely with my Puppy 5.1.1 frugal install, but so far I haven't been able to locate an en-GB dictionary for it. Presumably an sfs packaged for a recent version of Oo will work, but despite trying various search terms, no joy. Any pointers would be...

escputil in Puppy 5.1.1
I've just set up escp_util in Puppy 5.1.1, I had to sort a couple of bugs, the most serious of which was that the installing my printer ( Epson Stylus Photo R265 ) using Cups 1.4.3 did no t install escputil! Fortunately I'd re-mastered an earlier Puppy using this printer so I was able to lift the es...

Which manager are you using to make the connection? On my laptop - plug-in wireless card - I could connect using Network Manager in 5.1.1, but it wouldn't auto connect on re-boot. I installed pwireless2 through PPM and used that, auto-connects like a dream. Not really wi-fi related, but on my wired ...

Re: WPA2- enterprise
I am currently in college and the network is secured with a wpa2- enterprise encryption. I currently am unable to connect to the network. Is there a fix for this? According to the initial release announcement ( see page 1 of the thread ) pwireless2 originally did not have support for wpa2-enterpris...

I installed the Pwireless from the PPM but it is showing a dependancy even though it is working Libgio I wonder if this is a bug or a minor issue If you re-run the dependencies check for pwireless2 I think you will find that it reports no missing dependencies, but reports libgio as missing after ch...

I'm not sure what I did right this time jermimah, but pwireless2 ( the lupup version ) worked OK. Possibly before I didn't remove all the profiles in network-wizard, there seemed to be more than I remember in 4.2.1. Anyway, here's what I did, in case anyone else is having the same problem. 1:...

Pwireless2 not working
I'm having a problem getting pwireless2 working in 5.1.1. I've posted full symptoms over on the pwireless2 thread, but basically after I go through the standard procedure ( install pwireless2, remove profiles from Network-wizard, reboot ) pwireless can't see my wifi card, and just locks up when I cl...

jemimah, I had Pwireless2 working in Puppy 4.2.1 - see my earlier posts - but I'm not having any luck getting it working in Lupup. As pwireless2 is in the Lupup repro. I have to connect using network-wizard, ( I'm using a rt61 pcima wifi card ) install pwireless2, then remove my profiles from networ...

Legacy OS ran nicely from live CD on my 400Mhz P2, and as far as I could see the apps. did what it said on the tin, except that I could not get my networking configured. Not too surprising, as I'm running WPA2 security, and from memory I couldn't get wifi working until Puppy 4.2.1, with jermimah's P...

Tried the same CD in my ca. 2000 laptop ( for which it was intended ) running as live CD ( Puppy pfix=ram ) and it booted OK. I've had problems testing Puppy on the ' big box ' before, Quir...
