Thanks Mark for the reply eventually found the time to try and get it to work again but no joy so now I would like to uninstall the Mplayer plugin and the codecs but they are not listed in the pupget installer. I installed the Realplayer as per the instructions but no joy for me I go to the bbc site to watch video and it comes up with the same message as always no plugin installed after launching gxine.
