Thanks Mark for the reply eventually found the time to try and get it to work again but no joy so now I would like to uninstall the Mplayer plugin and the codecs but they are not listed in the pupget installer. Looks like I will have to do that manually can you tell me what was installed. Cheers Sam

Hi Mark I installed the codec pack and ran the setup restarted x and then started Mozilla and opened a video news item on the BBC the mplayer plugin showed that it was buffering and then said stopped. Cheers Mark the palette entries did make a difference, I experimented with different combinations, and could not get anything satisfactory to match the gtk that I was using. So I changed the GTK theme in the end to look more like the QT apps and now both the QT and the GTK apps look similar enough. ...

Hi I was wondering is it possible to theme GTK and QT apps to look the same or even use the same theme. Is there a dotpup, or does it require some file editing, or maybe it is not possible. I am looking for the above dotpup. I am not sure it has been created I have read posting alluding to its existence but have been unable to find it in the WiKi or the forum or even on MU's site.

I have installed Scribus in Puppy 1.08r1 and the fonts on the menu bar and in the menus are truly awful.
