whodo i tried ezpup4 with pupee4b on eee took forever did not seem to install properly.tried to uninstall ,created other problems. so i refomatted hdc reinstalled pupee4b all is well now. i may try ezpup3 as it worked well on pupeee3 lobster i used desktop puppy3 to format usb key to fat 16 with gpa...

faster boot
ok just to let all know with the noprobe mod to grub menu my boot time with pupeee301, ezpup with full install to hdc is now at 33 seconds thats pretty fast. i found the info in an earlier post here thank you.

boot speed
hi i would like to know if the the no probe added to grub would also help to reduce the boot time down from 48 seconds. i have 301 installed on the hdc of the eee, full install. lobster ez pup works fine for me other then the battery monitor not showing any more. i really like the black vista theme....

alt+key
ricstef thank you, the alt left click drag it works if you have a mouse. if you have no mouse on the eee you hold down alt key, hold down right click on scroll pad,then use the scroll pad to drag, thank you for getting me pointed in the right direction.

sd usb question
dvw86 if i may ask, my sd cards, 3 of them will show all the same files or none. this depends on th order of mounting. for ex if i put a sd card into pc eee, the next cards show the same thing, usb seems to be doing the same thing. do you think this might be an issue with the eee pc. thanks if i nee...
