Firefox 43 - No Help

Have updated Firefox to Firefox 43, but the Fox News videos still don't run......

I would like to thank several of the members for their "smart-assed" comments. They really know how to help someone with a problem.

Why do they bother?

/usr/bin has a file named numlockx

How can this be repaired without scraping the program and starting over?

Partition Won't Mount

I have recently had puppy528_7 and puppy528_6 each crash. I need to get backup save-files for these pups.

The backup save-files are in sda2. For some reason sda2 won't mount.

Is there a fix for this? Help!

Crashed, lost Nvidia driver -- how to replace it?

I setup and was running puppy528.7 without difficulty. However, I lost my save-file and its backup. I don't remember what Nvidia driver I was using, how I got it, and where it came from. As usual my notes aren't any help! I am running with a Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 graphics card. How do I ...

The problem seems to be the Firefox installation

I have firefox installed with firefox-portable-0.8.2. This is what is causing the problem. I installed the same version of firefox in puppy528.6 and didn't have the problem. I like firefox-portable but I don't like the small cursor problem. Doubting I'll get a response(?), does the issue persist in ...

No good news!

I have deleted Cursor_themes-1-Lucid which I used to supply cursors to Pcur. According to your instructions I replaced it with cursor_themes-1-1. In the console I used Pcur to select the "whitelarge" cursor according to your instructions. I restarted the program and started firefox. The whitelarge ...

Do you restart firefox when you change the cursor theme? In tahr 6.0 pcur works fine. Can you be more basic and more specific. I am using Polar Cursor from Menu>Desktop>Desktop Settings>Pcur cursor selector which has Cursor_themes-1-Lucid which was downloaded from the PPM. This cursor is being used ...

I am currently using Puppy 528.7 with jwm and firefox 34.0.5. I have changed the mouse cursor to a larger cursor in all areas of the program, except firefox. I cannot figure out how to change or increase the size of the firefox cursor. It is just too darn small. Mozilla with "Edit>preferences ...

Panels in Openbox are over sized

I am using Puppy 528.7 3HD and I am trying to use the Openbox window manager. I am familiar with JWM but I am lost in Openbox. I have messed something up causing various panels, for example, the initial panel of the PPM to extend well beyond the bottom of the screen. I cannot even select the PPM ...

Clear the memory of rox terminal (Solved)

I want to clear the memory of the rox terminal included in lupu528.6.

I have used the rox terminal to start firefox -safe-mode in order to examine my bank account. I would like to remove that history from the rox terminals memory.

How is this done?

Re: Quick test

The question is: How do you really know you are in safe mode? To me, Firefox looks the same as normal, when it first starts. I do not see anything on the initial Firefox window that indicates you are now in safe mode. The answer is all of the Add-ons have been disabled and do not appear on the Menu ...
