This module brings up the eth1 button and access to the wireless buttons in network wizard, but that's as far as it goes. When scanning for wireless networks in the network wizard, it detects none. Using this same mini-10 netbook under windows XP, the scan finds my AP and 2 other wireless networks ...

In this thread, I am unable to get newer kernel puppy to recognize my hard drive on my Dell Inspiron Mini 10, so I'm using puppy 412 retro with the 2.6.21.7 kernel. http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=46253 The driver posted in the sticky thread for 2.6.25.16 kernels will not work. I tried ...

Is your aim to use the wl broadcom driver...if so having it compiled for the retro version should be possible since thats what appears to be working for you. did 4.12 standard work? I did have to use pmedia=scsihd for a frugal to work on a similar machine..illogical I know mike Yes, that's exactly ...

I get "pup_421.sfs not found" when trying to boot puppy 421 frugal. I entered everything into menu.lst just as above. I have the necessary files in /puppy421 The only change I made is this, since I'm using /hda7 for puppy421 root (hd0,6) I had the same error when trying to boot puppy 412 from an ...

Puppy-4.2.1 doesn't detect Hard Drive Dell Inspiron Mini-10
I have Puppy 4.1.2 installed to a ext2 partition on my hard drive, but I cannot find a driver that will compile for the built-in broadcom wifi. So I am trying to setup and install "puppy-4.2.1-k2.6.25.16-seamonkey" It has the later kernel and there is a wifi driver compiled for this kernel that I ...

panzerpuppy, will opera 9.50 run on Puppy 1.04? Do you have "MUT Media Utility Tool" under "Filesystem" on your start menu? I'm running Puppy 3.01. I just used MUT to mount a 1GB CF card in my Sandisk multireader. I first inserted the CF card into the reader, then connected it to USB, then launched MUT. MUT shows an entry near the bottom for USB ...

Thank you very much! :) I wasn't sure which one I wanted, so I opened the directory in a browser, looked at the file sizes, and figured out that: Inkscape-cutdown-0.45.1.pup + Inkscape-addon-0.45.1.pup = Inkscape-0.45.1.pup (in file size). How do I stop [ctrl]+f from launching the console?
In Puppy 3.01, do I use xbindkeys or Mouse/Keyboard wizard to change this function?
I prefer to use [ctrl]+f in Leafpad to search with, but it launches a console instead.
Thank you for any help on this,
Jon

Required libs are gtkmm-2.8.8: oo extension to gtk, needed by inkscape(3.4mB) in puppy's package manager. EDIT1: Just noticed that the original subject was changed (not by me!!) Set it back as was & added the comment about vector graphic. EDIT2: Link1 Complete: without inkview & tutorials. 2.9M ...
