Any idea if it will work with Puppy 2.14?
Even if it only works as a different kind of mouse it would be cool!

Googling, I turned up a page in Ubuntu-land with it's model number (WP5540):
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/TabletSetup
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/TabletSetupWizardpen
According to that, it needs the Wizardpen driver.
As for setting it up in Puppy, I have no idea. The second page I linked to has instructions for Ubuntu, though, and I'm sure some people here would be able to help.

Yep. I'm actually getting a Wacom Graphire4 for my birthday. It's being shipped right now, and I'll be setting it up this weekend. It will use a different driver, but maybe there will still be enough overlap for me to help. I haven't analyzed the process, so I don't know if it's different. Probably not.

Whoops, I forgot about this thread. I made a thread in HowTo about setting up the Wacom. Works great.
Are you still waiting to buy one of these, or do you already have one and need to set it up? It's too late at night for me to try reading it's instructions, so I'll take a look tomorrow and see if it's similar.

It looks like it might work right, but I have no way of knowing without the actual tablet. The package comes with a binary driver, but I don't know that it will load in Puppy. The binary that came with the wacom package did, so it might.
Of course, I linked to the Ubuntu versions. If they don't work, maybe a slackware version could be found, which would probably have better chances.
Otherwise, an attempt at compiling could be made, but it may require the full kernel source to be present.
Regardless, the fact is that it will work in Linux. It's just a matter of how difficult it would be to get Puppy to use it. I can't imagine it would be overly difficult, though it might take significant fiddling.
So now I guess it's time for you to play "Deal or No Deal"
