If a wireless usb optical mouse can't make an Android phone with broken touch screen react what could be the issue?

I'll assume the mouse uses Bluetooth. Is Bluetooth turned on in the Android phone? How can you tell? If it's turned on, is it pairing with the mouse? How can you tell?

No it's not BT, only optical usb. And BT wasn't on when this happened.
I suspect ADB is off now ...

Ah, so. I wasn't aware that an Android phone could use a USB mouse. Have you used the mouse on other Android phones?

I used it on this one just 2 days ago with the OTG. Then the next day it stopped responding. I might've accidentally turned off the ADB. It's on b4.

Would you mind spelling out the acronyms, or at least explaining what they do? Probably anyone who can help you solve your problem knows already, but I don't. Let's make this an educational thread for those who don't, as well as maybe solving your problem.

OTG is On the Go and IS to do with USB devices.
It is usually associated with the access of USB sticks.
