I'm running Puppy-2.17 and Wine 0.9.45.

You will need Wine for this (search this forum).

1. Run 'winecfg':

2. Go to "Applications" tab, and press the |Add application| button:

3. Now browse to the Ares installation folder and select 'ares.exe':

4. Change the Windows version for Ares:

5. Finally, start Ares. If you'd like to easily open "Windows executables" change its default "Run Action", enter 'wine "$@"' for Puppy-3.xx or 'wine-kthread "$@"' for Puppy-2.xx (this prevents some problems).

Been a while since I messed with Windoze, but it should be possible, if not with a simple directory copy, with some registry transplants.
