Request Gambas2

Hi, I am new in the forum and Linux. I am looking for gambas2 (1.9...) )compiled. Anyone get this?

That would be nice. Gambas is a great project. The developer is very enthusiastic - and their logo looks like one of my relatives . . .

An earlier version was available 1.02 I think as a PETget (pupget as it was then) but is not any longer

I even started writing in it . . .

The old one is here, install with PupGet as binary package or with PSI.

Gambas is really rery nice.
I already download the version 1.0.4 in the forum, I would like the newest version (gambas2).
If somebody has gambas2 compiled, perhaps it can place at the forum for me and other peoples.
It doesn't need to be dotpup.

i try find gambas ( any version) to install in puppy 3.01 from 1 mont ago.
but 1 still can't instal.
i very newbie. i only install with pet packager only. i try install gambas 1.0.19.pet but 1 found error
errr:Id.so: object 'libqt-mt.so.3 ' frm LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded:ignored
ERROR: #27:cannot load component '/user/lib/gambas/lib.qt.so':/usr/lib/gambas/lib.gb.qt.so: Cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

what 1 must do?

You need to download, & install, the QT library package.

Menu-->Setup->Puppy package manager , Click to run the petget...., then select qt-3.3.8 from the left list, then Add->Okay.

Let us know how you go, because I remember there was someone had problems with libqt-mt.so.3 from qt-3.3.8, and could only get their program working using qt-3.3.6 instead.

i can't online from my puppy because 1 don't have Internet.
usualy 1 online from cybercafe. where i download qt.3.3.8 ?
after that. i just copy to /usr/lib/gambas or need more step to instal qt.3.38? please
your help is very valueable to me

Next time you're in a net cafe, download(3Mbytes):

When you boot puppy, at home, click to install. (Just in case, make a note of the filename, qt-3.3.8.pet, as sometimes I've experienced the name beoing corrupted, in the download to usbkey, and by renaming it then it's OK.)

Also, while you're at the net cafe, I'd download:

http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... -3.3.6.pet

just in case qt-3.3.8.pet doesn't resolve your problems, as mentioned above.

thank you very much. its working, instal gambas
first time i install qt.3.3.6 then gambas. its not working.mybe because in my pupyy, to much install program. most package debian. because i dont understand instal by console.so i use pbdebian-installer to install gambas****.deb, but still failur run gambas.
then i install new puppy. downlod gambas.1.0.9, qt.3.3.6
and instal them( just click on Rox File manager).
if i run from menu. gambas can not run. if from console, Gambas can Run.
very very thank you very much.

but i stil want instal database like sqllite, postresql, mysql.
would you show me where i donwload it?
