You open a console window and type 'rxvt'.

Actually, there can be logic behind that. For one, that way you see any error messages rxvt outputs. And if you add an ampersand like this:
rxvt &
You can open a second window without having to go and click the icon again. Be careful not to close the first until you're finished with the second though, because they're still bound. You can launch it so that they aren't, but that takes a little more typing:
( rxvt & ) &

I haven't done that, but once when I was playing with copy-paste using the middle button I decided to copy and paste rox; a couple times, then rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;, then
rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;
rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;
rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;rox;
and so on, so when I finally ran it I had several hundred rox windows up. It took several minutes of holding down <ctrl><q> to close them all. I don't even remember if I finished, or if I gave up and restarted X.

re: 'erbs
get a HID light.
re: mario
where are the Amanitas? the red shrooms with white spots (remnants of the universal vail) that I aways saw in mario.
to draw a tanget, here's a portion of something I meant to post once somewhere and never got around to:
Not to mention messing up your life. The most deadly mushrooms in the world are in the Amanita Genus.
DEADLY Amanitas:
The Death Cap Mushroom (Amanita phalloides)
http://americanmushrooms.com/deathcap.htm
The Destroying Angel mushrooms (Amanita virosa)
http://americanmushrooms.com/deathcap.htm#virosa
They contain Alpha-amanitin (read 'Symptoms of poisoning') which is a type of Amatoxin.
The hallucinogenic one's referred to contain Ibotenic acid (and no Amatoxin).
Here is a documentary of a well done scientific study on them, done by an Oxford Professor:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 3586165660
The following are some of them:
Amanita_muscaria (remember those red and white one's in Mario Brothers?)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanita_muscaria
In Michigan, I've never seen the red one's only the following variations:
Amanita muscaria var. formosa
http://www.mushroomexpert.com/amanita_m ... rmosa.html
Amanita muscaria var. guessowii (I ate one of these out in the woods once, just to prove to myself that I knew what I was doing. It wasn't enough for any type of 'dosage', but I didn't die or have any other trouble)
http://pluto.njcc.com/~ret/amanita/spec ... cgues.html
Amanita muscaria var. pantherina

Not necessarily correct. They may be survivable in small quantities. In even smaller quantities some have hallucinogenic properties. [cf the Rev. Dodgson's tales.] It's all in the dosage, just like Botox, atropine and digitalis.The most deadly mushrooms in the world are in the Amanita Genus.
If you want to know which fungi are truly destructive , you'll need to consult the appropriate texts as I've no wish to promulgate the knowledge.
Even more insidious are those species that taste good, cause no immediate effects but slowly destroy eg the liver over a period of months. Said to be untraceable. Nuff said!
