The icewm-theme is called "ThinBlack".
Gtk-Theme: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show. ... tent=73210
Somewhat similar is this, it also has black scrollbars. Maybe it is a bit too black, but that's personal taste.
But different to the first one, it also supports the old Gtk+.
So you might choose this first in my Themeselector to set black for Gtk+, and then the other one to set that for Gtk2 only.

On top you see the GtkBasic Panel, below on the right the gdesklets.
On bottom right conky.

I somehow how missed this thread until this evening. Took a while to look through all the different screenshots. WOW! It's amazing what everybody else has done.

Ear Candy
Like many viewers I frequently try out new themes as another "favourite" is posted. It's very inspiring.
But, taking another risk with this thread by not providing (or even discussing) eye-candy ........ I'm wondering whether there is an equivalent for "ear-candy".
I'd like to know about sound schemes and how to apply them to various events (e.g. open window, close window, new email, run abend, logoff, shutdown and so on) so each plays a different sound if wanted.
Is there such a thread, or a write-up somewhere? Has anyone any examples to share? Should it be a new and seperate thread? Is there no end to this guy's questions?
I hope that you get the point by now.
Thanks for looking/listening.

I made this thread some time ago, I wanted to add a startup sound, it is really easy and "earcandy", if you add an "important" sound at startup you'll impress your windozed friends
I can't help you on more complete and complex sound schemes....btw your idea is not bad at all, and I think that with a good implementation puppy can become earcandy without being bloated

Runt no more
and one day . . .
. . . all puppies were gorgeous
Is yours there?
see what darrelljon (see next post) has done here
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/PedigreePuppy
I have long believed that Puppys biggest bug was that it was not
poodlefied (trimmed and ribboned)
It is now and then some.
Puppy can also be plain - even that in Lassie and Dingo is really pleasing.
Wnop is the jewel of eye candy but some of the extraordinary tweaking is available in other forms, for example Ezpup or just adding a Window manager

Puppy 3.01 on my laptop. We all know that old habits die hard, so my Puppy is a blend of Linux, DOS and windoze.
