How to boot Puppy from a USB CD-ROM?

i need to use puppy linux 2.17 with USB CD_ROM.for i gave the following option in syslinux.cfg

pmedia=usbcd
pmedia=cd
pmedia=usbstorage
pmedia=sr0

but USB CD_ROM didnt boot puppy linux.

What i need to modify

Does your BIOS support booting from USB?
