How to change Pburn's default burner?

#1 Post by rvqx »

I have 2 burners: hdc and hdd. But I cannot select my Sony-burner hdd. Pburn only blanks my cdrw, using hdc and selecting hdd for burning is hard to do.
In the cd/dvd drive wizzard I have set all 3 drive-defaults on hdd, but Pburn ignores that.
I use puppy 400 on its own partition,
Pc: 1.6 GHz
1GB ram

Please install the latest Pburn 1.9.5, and report back.

Pburn does not use the settings in CD/DVD wizard. It has its on detection of burner/reader.

Remember to update pfilesearch. Link on Pburn page.

I have Pburn 1.5.1 that` s from puppy 4.00. Installing something else is far too difficult for me.
But I found a way to manage: just put an empty cd-r in my first burner device, than I can select the burner I like.

Installing Pburn 1.9.5 wasn`t difficult from the page you mentioned above.
Yes it works!
But i had to go through many windows and after blanking (called: burning) the tray opens and opens again clicking on finished.
