One of the reasons I still run both Puppy and XP is professional CAD that I need.
It would seem that I have found something that I can try:
http://www.cad-schroer.com/index.php?sc ... A&land=com
Apart from being a decent CAD system, it offers free personal license (renewable every 6 month)
It is supposedly good for CentOS, Fedora, Red Hat, SuSE and Ubuntu, so I have decided to try in Puppy 4.0 (full install on my desktop)
And now to the reason for this post:
Downloaded .sh file
Started installation and got the error message:
Code: Select all
medusa4_v3_0_1_linux_personal.sh: line 38: csh: command not found
but than it follows with something about finding rpm in Fedora......you need to install the "C shell", or "csh". The Medusa installation and other scripts wrongly invoke the Bourne shell ("sh"), which has a different syntax...
Can you please help in translating this into "Puppy talk"
thanks Chris
