Where are the files stored for firefox and opera stored that are created when one answers yes to save passwords for a web site?

Program specific configuration data is stored in /root/.xxxxx where xxxxx is the program.
So for opera it will be /root/.opera.
For Firefox, I am not sure as I don't use it, but it could be /root/.firefox or /root/.mozilla
The ./xxxxx files are hidden files you don't see normally. In rox click on the eye to see them.

Firefox files appear to be in /root/.mozilla/firefox/0tj2qvka.default

The SeaMonkey ones are in /root/.mozilla
So this leaves room to add firefox as well.
