Yeah. Sorry for the extra "ask", but I think it's important. Sylpheed isn't acceptable for general use as it has no working html display support. From a functionality viewpoint for refugees, that's a showstopper. We'd have to include Thunderbird instead and that really would put us over the limit on size.ttuuxxx wrote:Do we have an extra 2-2.5MB compressed to waste? If so I'll do it, it will take hoursssss.WhoDo wrote:Alpha3 will be Seamonkey-1.1.14, complete with Mail/News (pretty please? ), Seafox theme, monkeymenus and CuteMenus (pretty, pretty please? ), and the build script should ensure it appears in the defaultbrowser file. Alpha2 picked up netsurf because it didn't recognise Firepup/Firefox was even there for some reason.
Point taken. I plead a complete lack of sleep - even though she was born at 9:12pm, by the time we got home it was close to 1:00am. Then last night the immediate family were up until 1:00am this morning "wetting the baby's head", so I still haven't had any serious sleep. I have had a few Wild Turkey Rare Breeds though ... oh and a lovely long nurse of my brand new grandaughter this morning!pa_mcclamrock wrote:What I meant was I didn't have time to try to devise solutions to the no-boot problem. I hope you will, sooner or not quite so soon. I really would like to be able to boot an Alpha 2 CD, and I'm sure a lot of other people would too.
It is with me!ttuuxxx wrote:Hey WhoDo it sounds like my new icewm package is a hit
What tha' heck! Let's go the whole hog and install the full 1.7Mb! If that works ok, then we'll have plenty of room for Seamonkey-1.1.14 with the full set of add-ons, too! Downloaded for testing.ttuuxxx wrote:Option 2 Claws mail + Html + Calendar plugin 1.7MB

sorry of being not exact: this is an jwm issue.- show desktop should not be in in autohide section In what? Icewm?? I removed it because well by default most themes don't come with a matching show desktop icons, So then it looks out of place, I'll see what I can do about getting one that works with all of them.
Claws mail works for me! And I now need the extra space. I'm pushing up just under 100Mb and I don't want to go over.ttuuxxx wrote:Hey WhoDO whats the verdict on Claws mail? I would like to know which direction I'm heading towards, compiling more plugins or Back to compiling Seamonkey
I'll wait for you, Jeff. If it's not done tonight I'll upload tomorrow night. I need the time to sort the icon themes out. I found a great GPL set on gnome-look.org that will fit right in with Deepthought and give it an even classier look.ttuuxxx wrote:Hey WhoDo just tell me how much time I have for me to finish this claws mail thing if your planning to upload tonight, or is it already too late??
